The Search All Grants interface allows you to construct
a targeted, field-specific search using search boxes and picklists.
You can combine any or all of the fields using
drop-down menus of Boolean Operators:
and, or, and not.
Note: Only enter information in those fields you wish to search on.
The Rules for Searching section details
the search strategies and syntax that can be used in this interface.
II. Search Recent Grants
Search Recent Grants is designed to search the database for the most recently added records.
This page allows you to enter searches just as you would using the Search All Grants Interface,
but limit the search to those records most recently added to the database (the date duration for this
interface differs depending on which database chosen).
III. Search Grants by Specific Institutions
This interface allows you to pick a specific research institution that has received a grant from
the list provided. You can then add other search parameters using the specific institution interface.
(Note: not every institution receiving a grant in the database is listed).
IV. Search Grants in Specific States or Countries
These interfaces let you choose a specific U.S. state (or also a foreign country in the case of the
USDA) in which to limit your search. Click on a specific
state on the image map to go to an interface for that state or use the text links below the map.
V. Search By Keyword
The Keyword Interface (NIH and MRC) allows you to browse or search for specific keywords from the
controlled vocabulary list. Note, not all records have keywords attached to them. Click on the letter
from the list to see the terms beginning with that letter or type a word, phrase or root word to find
specific terms in the vocabulary.
